Alice
Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?
The Cheshire Cat
That depends a good deal on where you want to get to.
Alice
I don’t much care where.
The Cheshire Cat
Then it doesn’t much matter which way you go.
Alice
...So long as I get somewhere.
The Cheshire Cat
Oh, you’re sure to do that, if only you walk long enough.
Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland

heroes, spells, charms and adventures combined build a scenery of adventure, unveiling the challenges that further will be faced by the individual. freedom is exercised by games and playing which represent the conquest of who can dream, feel, decide, design, blunder, discover, venture and act, to overcome the challenges of playing, recreating time, place and objects.
teaching can only be bright and alive if it is free, made possible by artistic expression. Information is elaborated in the intellect, passing through the senses, organs and in the end determines a will, transforming itself into knowledge. learning through emotions and sensations, which accompanies this experience, supports what is intellectually grasped, reaching the whole being.
the "map of wonders" is a narrative created to develop individual talents, letting kids decide where they want to go and how to live each space. ups and downs, curves and obstacles, where children can question and build meaning about the world and society, producing culture. this magic world is empowered by nature, translated here by biophilia, which transmits a sense of value and belonging to natural landscape, leading children to be actively involved in building their social lives, closer to nature and its law.
direct contact with living beings - blackberries, strawberries, insects, birds and mammals - and physical - air, soil, water, rocks - affects the child in a way that the symbolic experience cannot replace. it creates a dreamlike atmosphere where art, dreams, fantasies and subjectivity arise. the more we understand other forms of life, the more we learn from them, the greater will be the value, the greater the contribution to next generations.
biophilia is a genetic human tendency of being connected with nature, however, the personal and cultural experiences in which the person lives impact on the development of this connection, which needs to be reinforced in order to perpetuate. therefore, the project combine an exploration of senses, creating spaces where kids can get in touch with nature, which is empowered by ludic constructed elements that translate all this magic world.
